“ Lovely little café with a big brunch menu, so many options and quite reasonably priced. You can’t book and we had to queue for about 20-30 minutes to get a table for Sunday brunch, but the staff was well organised and friendly and given how busy the place was that was really not bad in terms of waiting time. Inside is quite small but cosy. The coffee was good and the Flat White had the perfect silky smooth milk texture. The food was delicious, I chose the Tricoloré brunch and we got some beans on the side, everything tasted really fresh and the portion was generous. The service was great throughout, the staff were so lovely and we didn’t feel rushed to order or pay at any point. Will be back! ”

“ Very good food. Generous portions and not too bad prices. Service was a bit slow because it was very busy. You can't book. Next visit, the pancakes were a bit dry so we asked for some cream. However, they brought us a whole new dish which was above and beyond. ”

“ We stopped into cafe Tamra for a quick brunch and had a great experience. We each ordered the French toast, which was topped with strawberries and caramelized bananas. The service size itself was just enough French toast- not too much where you’re stuffed to the brim, but not so little that you’re leaving unsatisfied. We had to wait in the queue outside for a bit, but that’s par for the course for brunch on a weekend so we had no issue with waiting. ”

“ Well laid out seating outdoors (there is a £1.50 levy per person for the road closure) meant that that we were able to have quite an enjoyable experience at Cafe Tamara. Service was also prompt and friendly. We had a flat white to start which was pretty good. For food we had the shakshuka and the vegan Lebanese breakfast. We felt the scrambled tofu in the vegan breakfast was a little bit too salty. I can’t fault the shakshuka which was lovely. Definitely a place we would visit again if we were in the area. ”
